Workshop Content:
The characteristics of oil painting are the richness and depth of color achieved through the use of pigments. It can be created through layers and blends applied over several days. Basic techniques include painting "fat over lean" to prevent cracking, underpainting, glazing, and alla prima. Due to high painting skills are required and paintings have different artistic styles, resulting in relatively high artistic values.
Age: No Limit (Elderly, parent and child are welcome)
Location: Rm 1113, Wellborne Commercial Centre, 8 Java Road, North Point, HK.
Registration Deadline: One days before activity date
Duration: On hourly basis
Hourly Fee per Person: HK$150

油畫的特點是其使用之顏料令畫作本身帶有豐富的色彩和層次感。它可以進行數天的層層疊加和混合。基本技法包括「厚塗薄塗」以防止開裂、底色繪製、罩染和 alla prima 等等。由於繪畫技巧要求很高，畫作可有不同創作風格，故藝術價值亦相對為高。
